BOTOX® injection is an effective treatment option for primary Hyperhidrosis or Bromhidrosis.  BOTOX® acts by temporally blocking neurotransmitters that stimulate sweat production. As a result, sweating is notably reduced.  Without the sweat to feed the bacteria in the armpits, problems with excessive body odor (bromhidrosis) may be managed. 

 

This treatment can be used to treat hyperhidrosis in the armpits, palms, and soles. The treatment does not affect other parts of the body from perspiring normally. The treatment is relatively simple and quick; the process takes about 30 minutes. Treatment results last approximately 6 months – providing a substantial relief for patients during the summer season.
