VITALAGE Medical Peel is a medical-strength, in-office skin renewal treatment.  It is indicated for acnes, melasma, sun damage, fine lines, texture roughness, large pores, and dullness. This treatment removes the superficial layer of damaged skin, stimulates dermal cell renewal, and exposes a new layer of healthy undamaged skin that is soft, smooth, and evenly toned. The new skin is visibly rejuvenated and resistant to inflammation caused by UV rays, hormones, and pollutants. 

 

This medical peel treatment must be administered by a registered physician.  It is suitable for any skin type or colour, and may be repeated every 4 to 6 weeks.  The patient will experience some burning and stinging sensations during the treatment; a fan distributing cool air onto the treatment area may provide some relief.  Peeling is very mild or even unnoticeable, with minimal to no downtime.  Usage studies show remarkable safety with minimal irritation.

For optimal results, we recommend our patients to correct existing skin problems and restore skin health first by using the ZO® MEDICAL Skincare System for a minimum period of 4 to 6 weeks prior to receiving the Medical Peel Treatment. When the skin renewal process completes, patients may continue using the ZO® MEDICAL Skincare System for daily maintenance.
