PRP Hair Regeneration Treatment (or Vampire Hair Regeneration) is a treatment used by VITALAGE for individuals experiencing hair loss. It involves using sterile patented PRP tubes from Regen Lab in Switzerland. PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is derived from the user’s own blood and contains a rich variety of growth factors. The PRP is then injected into the scalp. Since the injected PRP comes from the user’s own blood, there is no risk of rejection.
The PRP Hair Regeneration Treatment involves injecting PRP precisely, which is rich in growth factors, directly into the hair follicles on the scalp. This stimulates the hair follicle cells to divide more rapidly, leading to the production of new healthy cells that replace aging or damaged ones. As a result, the hair follicles are strengthened, spontaneous repairing occurs, and shrinking follicles regain vitality. Additionally, the treatment enhances blood circulation in the scalp, prolongs the anagen phrase (growth phase) of hair follicles, and activates follicles from telogen phase (resting phase) to anagen phase in hair life cycle, accelerating hair growth.
To ensure the PRP treatment process is sterile and infection-free, it must be performed in a controlled environment. Registered doctors in Hong Kong carry out the procedure due to its involvement with blood. All equipment and patented tubes that come into contact with blood are disposable to meet hygiene standards.
